Seniors can find comfort in talking with  our chaplains whether they are religious or not. The role of chaplains in a senior living environment is an important one for seniors who are nearing the end of life and want religious or spiritual guidance. Or they simply need someone to talk to and perform regular religious services within the community. Our chaplains provide seniors with that and more. BEYOND also work with families to arrange funeral services, facilitate any final requests, and attend funeral proceedings.

At BEYOND, our programs gives seniors the religious or spiritual support they need in their communities. Seniors don’t have to be religious to benefit from a BEYOND's presence in a senior living community. They can be there for comfort and support, talk about any questions about life or death, or simply have a friend to talk with. 

We are also there to support the nurses and medical staff to help them cope with the difficulties and stress of caring for seniors.

The role of a BEYOND Chaplains consists of:

Coordinating and leading faith-based group meetings

Conduct one-on-one ministry with residents and staff

Be on-call for end-of-life care

Support family members and staff who have lost a loved one

Arrange funeral services

Provide religious or spiritual support for all staff

Resident support – Chaplains will meet with residents privately and in group sessions for religious or spiritual counsel. They can help ease any fears seniors have about death and the afterlife while helping them and their families cope with grief.

Family support – Chaplains will also work with the resident’s family during the end-of-life phase. They can help coordinate funeral arrangements and speak at the service. They can also pass along any final messages or requests.

Staff support  – Caring for seniors who are near the end can be very hard on caregivers and staff. They form close bonds with their patients and feel pain and grief when they depart. Chaplains are there to help all staff members with support and counseling as necessary.

Through the utilization of specialized Chaplain Care at business, BEYOND Chaplains offers proactive and individualised employee care. Interactions with chaplains are kept private, they are impartial in relation to business operations, and their services are offered voluntarily. On a regular basis, our chaplain teams visit the workplace.

VISITS TO THE WORKPLACE: These brief, personalized visits are scheduled at critical moments and allow for easy visibility, access, and relationship building without disrupting the flow of work.

CARE & OFF-SITE VISITS: Hospitals, nursing homes, funeral homes, and prisons are some of the places where proactive worksite visits lead to in-depth conversations with employees outside of work hours.

BEYOND chaplains  in the workplace is a calling that extends BEYOND clergy. The mental health of your staff is an important priority for us. Having been through the stresses of the office, including disagreements between coworkers and supervisors, long hours, and job discontent, BEYOND Chaplains truly empathize with employees and have a firm grasp of the realities of the workplace. They are leaders that are able to coach and support your employees.

The only chaplain job that BEYOND chaplains do is front-line chaplain work. They are devoted to taking care of your employees around the clock and are not obligated to complete administrative tasks, fill out paperwork, find new chaplains, or assist with marketing the service to new firms.

The treatment provided by BEYOND chaplains is interdisciplinary. Depending on the company's location and the amount of employees to be served, our team of chaplains will be assignment-based chaplains, and they will come from a variety of ethnic backgrounds.
